Chris (he/him) is an Asian-American artist working in the Philadelphia area. After graduating from The University of the Arts, he followed a lady to upstate New York where he started working for publishers around the globe from the tiny town of Beacon. Eventually, he and the lady settled back into the Philly-area because they simply love the “aroma.”

Some kind words from past collaborators:

"When we needed to put together the ideas computers and hardcore rap we knew that Chris was the right guy for the job. He was able to blend together the complex issues in a conceptual and fun way. Chris gave us fresh and interesting ideas and was able to deliver from sketch to final. I can always count on Chris to deliver strong work in a professional and timely manner."

-Dennis H, Tennis Magazine

"With a concept cover, the are no limits to what you can say, especially with such a talented illustrator as Chris. Once you settle on an appropriate style, the right illustrator can make the message resonate with the reader. Not all illustrators work the same way, but a good one will listen to all the things the client wants and doesn't want and then offer options. Chris provided four very tight sketches. Once the sketch was approved by the client with a few small adjustments, Chris began working on the color version and provided me with a finished product in quickly."

-Kerri D, MYBusiness Magazine

“I commissioned Chris to illustrate a feature about how to motivate and nurture people. Chris sent me several great sketches based on some basic ideas we provided. The result, a very impactful final illustration, delivered on time. I look forward to working with Chris again.”

-Scott V, Investment Advisor

"Chris’s knack for finding unique visualizations to accompany sometimes abstract articles is unparalleled. I had the pleasure of working with him during my time at Postlight where we commissioned him to do editorial illustrations for our Insights articles. Our whole team was absolutely blown away by the stunning concepts that he delivered, and oftentimes we found it hard to pick just one because they were all so great. I look forward to the day we can work together again. 10/10 definitely recommend."

-Minder S, Postlight

Even after years of working as an illustrator, Chris is still always thrilled to see an email pop up with a new assignment; he never tires of coming up with visual solutions, and he loves a good challenge. He ‘s been doing this for a while, and he’s created illustrations for:
